Bondgate Within, Alnwick

This is the main street in the town of Alnwick. The name of the main gate in the town is called Bond Gate because the Lord of the town, commenting on the rough ride he just had on the stagecoach said he was "shaken not stirred" as he passed through this gate.

The Book Lad

The Book Lad, he is often seen at Amble Car Boot Sale on Saturday mornings in the Harbour, he is usually at the far end from the main gate. He starts selling late. The big attraction is he gives a lot of stuff away, completely for free.
