The Cawledge Business Park, Alnwick
This popular Business Park at Alnwick, Northumberland is only yards away from the A1, the main London to Edinburgh motorway. A notice been posted at the Park to inform the general public of the plans for a new car park to be built on the Park. This new car park will help ease the demand for parking spaces at this very popular Business Park at Alnwick in Northumberland.

The Maltings Alnwick
26 October, 2009 – Parts of the edifice look like they’re completed from the outside, but on closer examination some of the floors are missing inside, and the buildings although looking like they’re completed from the outside, on the inside they're really empty “shells”.

The Bric a Brac Shop closed in February 2006
The same building photographed recently as part of the Maltings development
The door on the front is now a fake.
On Saturday, February 11th 2006, a large flame was seen rising from the roof of Tagish Ltd., a computer company located on the top floor. The roof of this building was completely burnt off. Access was prevented to Mill Studios, Tagish was completely destroyed, Border Cordage was seriously damaged. The Landlord lost a large amount of expensive furniture stored in the area that had been the New Life Church. Second hand books had been sold from a cottage on the front since 1987.

Hello. Thank you so much for sharing the old pictures of Alnwick - lovely. My husband's family came from Alnwick in the early 1800s, and when I research any tree I love to find old pictures of where the family were living.
Again thanks, Jean.
