The Plunge Baths impressive entrance in Alnwick town centre

The Plunge Baths Communal Wash and Stalls was built in Alnwick town centre in 1872 and occupied a large area to the rear of this entrance. Today this impressive entrance is now a part of the Alnwick Working Men's Club and the back structure of The Plunge Baths Communal Wash and Stalls has been demolished.

Hello. Thank you so much for sharing the old pictures of Alnwick - lovely. My husband's family came from Alnwick in the early 1800s, and when I research any tree I love to find old pictures of where the family were living.
Again thanks, Jean.

Wonderful blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Many thanks.
